A little while ago, I came across a lineless drawing of Crimson with shading and lighting on Instagram. The artist made it look so realistic and that really inspired me to attempt to do one myself. If you’re curious, the artist in question is helluvamaefire.

It took a lot of time and patience to complete this. And while it may look simple, I needed at least 38 layers for it. There’s technically more if you count the ones I had to merge. It’s really unfortunate that IbisPaintX only allows 38-40 layers before it starts to lag and whatnot. :/

As for the background, it’s one that I’ve used for a previous artwork of him. I had taken a screenshot of his fireplace and basically traced over it to make a higher quality image of it.

With all that being said, I really love the outcome and am already working on another drawing of him in this style. :3
