Just looked up Lauren Faust online- to clarify some confusion, there is no direct link between Genndy Tartakovsky and the new My Little Pony show. But Faust did work on Powerpuff Girls and Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends, and she is married to Craig McCracken, who is the other guy you'd be thinking of when thinking about the Powerpuff Girls.
