I was asked if I think Donbot came from a lineage of mob bosses and his dad’s job was passed down to him or if Don started the Robot Mafia himself, and I thought about writing Donbot’s story because if there isn’t an official backstory for him I tjought I would do it myself.

In my headcanon, Don did not originally come from a mob family, or at least he didn’t in his very early days. His parents weren’t involved in any sort of crime, as a matter of fact they were the kindest robot couple you’ve met, maybe except for Tony.

Tony overall is pretty strict and mean when it comes to meeting new people. He works where there’s a lot of stress but at least he comes home to his beloved wife, Doña. Tony is designed after Donbot’s appearance in a couple of the official Futurama comics where he looks totally off model. He’s named after Tony Soprano from The Sopranos (which is a show i havent watched yet but i know about it thanks to the internet) and i can even imagine this guy sounding like him.

Doña is the complete opposite of Tony, she is a genuinely nice person who’d make you cookies if you’ve been having a bad day. Whereas Donbot got most of his genes from his dad, he got his ma’s genes mainly from the head and the chest door. If you’ve noticed, Don’s head color is a little lighter than the rest of his body in earlier episodes so I did the same with Doña’s design.
I also noticed that she looks a little like Anglene (idk how you spell her name)

You can imagine how devastated these two were when their baby went missing. They hope one day they can see their son again. Only time will tell.
