of two lovely anteaters called Antique and Arlette. Two estranged lovers finally united.
The night before this scene, Arlette proposed to Antique, after her musical career finally took off by scoring a record deal and was thrilled that Antique accepted.
They're now sharing an insect meal platter at the 'Chez Fourmi' in France.
I adored painting this, so much detail (The cobblestone may have killed me, but it was worth it) and awesome characters! I'm surprised it took me this long to draw anthro anteaters, since anteaters rule! ^___^

Oh, this is so cute! I love the Lady and the Tramp kiss done anteater style, and all the detail and attention you put into this piece is simply wonderful. The cobbled streets are very well done, and I really like the peek down the street behind them. It really puts you there, in the moment, as it were.
Anteaters are lovely animals, too. It's really kind of a pity you don't see them more often.
