COCONUTS. HAVE. WATER. IN. THEM!!!
Next scene: Garak grabs Kukalaka.
.
ID: A scene from Star Trek: Deep Space Nine drawn in Bluey style. It shows Garak like as an anthropomorphic squarish black and white Siberian husky, wearing a fashion flamboyant golden patterned shirt, and Bashir as an anthropomorphic squarish brown saluki, in blue sciences Starfleet uniform. The angry growling Garak grabs a startled Bashir. The background is a typical Cardassian station quarters, showing a space starry window. End ID.

I couldn't find any mention of coconuts, but I have watched a few fragments from the episode
where Garak was being driven up the walls with his claustrophobia and that endorphin implant.
There were plenty of scenes of the poor undercover tailor dramatically attacking Bashir
with revelations about his past and existential anguish, and he seemed to be wearing
this very costume, too!
The relationship between these two is apparently one of the most fan-favorite
in the DS9 circles, and it's easy to see why: both of them are intellectual and prone to snarking,
but Garak's troubled mind and body are so well complemented by Bashir's doctorly compassion!
It was a genius idea of yours to make Garak into a husky, seeing how
the sharp contrast of the dog's to tones reflect the contrast between
the character's black hair and grey skin.
And huskies are also notoriously dramatic!
Saluki is a fine choice for Bashir, too! Those pixie eyelashes suit him well!
It's impressive how you've made your characters work as both Bluey dogs, and regular furries!
I like Garak and Bashir both as a husky and a seluki, and as an aoudad and a rabbit/lizard,
and strange as it is to keep in mind both versions.

The mention of coconuts is from the Bluey's "The Sleepover" episode! It's available on official Bluey's YouTube channel, at least here in Brazil.
I think both episodes have similar themes. Okay, "The Wire" is way darker. But they both feature a character (Muffin/Garak) struggling with physiological changes due abstinence (respectively, afternoon sleep/I'll not spoil the episode, watch if you can, it's beautiful!)
Both Bashir and Garak are fantastic characters. Plus, the actors are so cool too with fans - I can attest Sid is a gem, so kind and polite, and both went to the length of reading fanfiction.
I'm glad you enjoy the sonas/Bluey sona choices! Some of the ideas for dog!Garak and dog!Bashir came from discussion with other DS9 fans :).
And there is not such a thing as "too much eyelashes" when we are talking about Bashir :)

I remember you linking this video with Robinson and Siddig, only I'd not recognized the actors back then!
They do seem really cool and personable!
Also, I wanted to express my admiration for making Kira Nerys a saiga antelope in your furry DS9 canon!
It's a perfect fit! And saigas are very cool, in general!
Found the coconuts!
Thank you for explaining everything!
And I don't mind the spoilers too much!
It's just as interesting to know *how* something happened, as *whether* it happened at all.

Maaaan rabbit!Andy is a smol hit in Garashir community, it's... surreal.
And yeah, I had the pleasure to join some online talks with Sid and the fans, and he is really cool, funny, polite and very, VERY kind. A true gem!
Oooooo, and thank you for appreciating the saiga!Kira! Saigas are so cool, and both saigas and Nana Visitor have these big, shiny, expressive eyes. I tend to imagine Bajoran characters as "animals with cool noses" - like tapirs, elephants, and yeah some of them can be even elephant seals!
And it's a pleasure to explain - I think I'm still a teacher at heart ^^

They say: "Never Meet Your Heroes", but it's soo good for that superstition to be proven wrong
when you meet some cool people who have worked on the projects you love, and they turn out
really nice people, and still potent sources of inspiration!
Your way of converting those fictional peoples into furries while retaining their distinctive traits
is very clever, and should be imitated by all your fellow artists!
Once a teacher -- always a teacher!
