This is absolutely gorgeous. The texture you created is amazing and I love the water color effect of the colors and the way they bleed into each other. You always create such a stunning and unique palette that works flawlessly, using colors I would never, ever think to use. I love the way he looks against the murky lavender gray and then how the background gets lighter and has smears of wine red. It's just breath-taking.
The composition is BRILLIANT. I love how he's off to one side and the illusion of even more space is created by the asymmetrical border. You always try such daring things with your art and they turn out fabulously.
His face looks amazing, you draw him so well. And I love his expression, you capture emotion beautifully and this certainly reflects the feeling of homesickness. And I don't know, all the negative space kind of creates the feeling of being alone, and emphasizes that he's the last of his kind and in that way is sort of alone in the world. A world where he originally didn't belong. It's very deep.
I love that you gave him two different colored eyes, you know, representing the canonical interpretation of him and then the one from the concept art. The bright pink on his ears and cheeks looks amazing, I love how it pops, and then the way some of it squiggles away is so cool to look at and creates movement in the piece. I also love how you rendered the spikes on his outfit and the shape of his cowl looks amazing, I love how it frames him. All the other swirls and dots of colors everywhere look amazing. So abstract! But you never clutter a piece, the placement is absolutely perfect. I especially love the way the star is dripping, it kind of creates a focal point and it gives me the urge to look into the sky.

I am so glad you noticed the two eyes and just EVERYTHING, you always see everything I was going for but then notice even more I wasn't even aware of and find hidden meanings. I am so glad the texture is okay and the way it was framed, I wasn't sure where it was going! Seriously thank you SOOO so so so much!!!!!! Also everything YOU said was deep, I love it. ;-;
