Originally, it is a war strategy tabletop game where you buy and paint (very expensive) miniatures and then use rulers and rules to beat the crap of the opposing player's army. But there are a lot of fantasy books to read and videogames to play (the vast majority are crap) and it has a very deep lore (available online). It is also ridiculously dark and edgy. I do not play the tabletop game because I do not have money for the hobby, but I greatly enjoy the lore, stories and some videogames.
And yes, everyone is very buff. Including the women.
