One of the most famous artistic myths from antiquity is the story of Pygmalion told in Ovid's "Metamorphoses". The sculptor, disappointed by the women, falls in love with a statue he created, called Galatea in later adaptations. At his request, Aphrodite (called Venus by the Romans) brings her to life and they become a happy couple.
And so with Hero Forge I created a female Pygmalion who caresses her created statue (which she made entirely out of her imagination and not after a man she had ever seen) and wishes for it to come to life. For her, this statue embodies everything she wants in a man.
