Story time! After absolutely nuking my motivation to draw after the three big full-scene picks back in October/November/December I had to take a long break, but I'm finally back with a (well, not so little) shitpost of Blue and Cricket I did to try to find my art mojo again. Although I was definitely still having trouble when I started this out given I just could not get the poses I wanted to work with their original feral forms so I guess this is anthro practice now. I did have a good bit of fun cooking up designs for my favorite kiddos though- sticking scarves on dragons may as well be my watermark at this point.
Featuring Blue and Cricket, the latter of which I like to headcanon as a lot bigger (given it just makes sense to me that the average HiveWing is substantially bigger than the average SilkWing, but also just because Big Lady). She is very proud of her bf and is having a lot of fun showing him off to out-of-frame Sundew who is likely having a good chuckle at Blue's expense.

Huh, I don't think it is outright stated but I think you might be generally correct on their size difference. When blue comes out of the cocoon cricket has a thought that mentions how he seems bigger with his wings? realistically it probably Isn't all that much of a size difference it is really cute and amusing to image blue a good portion smaller then cricket.
