Yeeaaah. So I was thinking of a way to get a tail to stay up with internal-only support.
The metal baseplate needs to be attached to a larger object, which itself needs to be attached to a belt or set of hooks, but the idea seems to be sound.
Gonna make a squirrel tail for this.
