Where did all the myth's from Merv's Earth get off to? A strange ring world in a pocket reality that is simply called "Ring" by it's inhabitants. Between the fae, gryphons, sphinx, and other creatures living there the use of gates as method of travel has become rather common. The energy demands of this mode of travel preclude it's use for freight, but it has clear advantages for getting people around the fun floating islands that dot the landscape of Ring. Each gate is tended to by a warden to insure its safe operation and security.

Arc is the largest city on this world so far and as such has a significant travel and freight hub for all manners of goods and people.
