I love it when people treat music as the soundtrack to their lives. A song is never just a song. It could mean a milion things to a million different people. It's one of the reasons I try to stay away from commercialized music - what if something important or special happens to me while that song is playing in my life, but I can't share that because the song has such a commercial and coporate association already?

I dunno, I think I'm just a music snob.

Naaah, I'm the same way, though I do listen to some mainstream stuff. I just avoid music videos!! URG!
