I absolutely love the picture! I could just imagine the Doctor explaining the Daleks to his companion and it turns out that somehow after eons this Dalek is exposed to something that gives it a conscience and the shame and grief for the atrocities is almost too much to bear for it; like the collective guilt for all of the other daleks is like what happens to the Cybermen when you remove their emotion inhibitor.
