So I tried to draw as if I were using pastel pencils.
My aim was to capture that moment post-transformation when the realization hits about the losses one will face and the understanding that problems won't magically vanish, even after transforming into something entirely non-human. Social constructs may not be tangible, yet they hold real power in our minds, and there's still the necessity to confront and resolve them. The transformation strips away that final mask, compelling one to face reality.

that is an interesting take on how transformations aftermath affects the individual, there is usually different routes depending on the character that undergoes the metamorphosis, likely those trying to run away from social constructs testing at the new theoretical freedom and those who welcomed society panicking and seeking a way back
