(UPDATE 1-7-2024: I realized Ash's hands were too small, so I enlargen them along with the Chaos Emerald that he's holding, as well as extending his belly fur down.)
(UPDATE 1-3-2024: This was probably a small change, but I noticed that Ash's left leg was thinner than his right. I had thicken it out, so that his legs would look even.)
A drawing I did of Ash as a Mobian Wolf while he holds a blue Chaos Emerald. He fits perfectly in Sonic's World, ngl. I can definitely see him becoming close friends with Tails.

the idea of ash & his friends being in the sonic universe as mobians does make some sense, I mean, how else would they keep up with the blue burr himself?
I would have Ash & his friends be guardians of the chaos emeralds, with ash protecting the blue one, he & Delia, his mom, are the last of the dire wolves, who were wiped out by the echidna tribe in their conquest, so the sight of knuckles absolutely enrages him, with him immediately attacking knuckles almost on sight!, prompting both sonic & knucks' to fight ash in a 2v1, with ash actually holding his own, despite not being as fast as sonic or as strong as knuckles, Ash has the tenacity, arsenal, & sheer aggression to keep up with them, with it taking both Serena & Amy to calm him down from mauling the hedgehog & echidna, now he's on slightly easier terms, with him being friends with tails, though, he does get annoyed by rouge trying to steal the emerald form him
Ash's abilities besides the usual speed & strength of a mobian are a sonic roar, aura made clawed gauntlets, aura blast from his hands, an atomic breath like aura beam form his mouth, an aura infused spindash that makes him a saw blade that can cut a pillar in half, & limited use of chaos attacks
