"I know I'm not a girl, but I just want to be like my sisters."
Vivian never says this btw. I took some of the things she says in the game and added this twist myself because of her identity situation in this picture.
Same exact thing I did for Birdo, I'm not gonna go through a very long description like I did back on DA explaining Vivian's background (yeah it was long). I know a lot of you already know, but for those who don't know, Vivian, just like Birdo, is canonically a guy that happens to possess more overexaggerated feminine attributes and appeal than a males. Lets just say Japan knows their audience and they know a massive majority of them like feminine males that you'll see in quite a lot of anime. Vivian is no different, but again, Japan went the route of making Vivian a full female in the game for the butchered overseas version to avoid identity confusion. I won't accept that personally. As a matter of fact, Italy actually took the original male gender of Vivian and embraced it tenfold, never accepting the overseas full female version. An Italian translator for the game didn't like how Japan made this decision, so they basically added extra context to Vivians situation. Another country did the same, but I don't remember which one. Look this up if you guys get time to.
So only going off of the Japanese version, Vivian suffers from a superiority complex in the game, struggling with his identity as a girl and will often get called out and exposed by his two siblings for doing so. He's a guy that has high amounts of feminine appeal to him. His sisters will outright during the Japanese version of the game call him a fake and such for trying to be a girl. Vivian is also heavily embraced by many in the trans community for wanting to identity as a girl while canonically being a male the same way Birdo is.
Now this is where it gets interesting in the art world. You have artist that draw him as a male or a female (or intersex) which opens up interesting possibilities in their art. I'm obviously going the route of keeping him as a girly male while wanting to be identified as a girl because just like Birdo, it opens up some funny and interesting scenarios where Vivian can make guys gay on the spot without them knowing or creating other situations with her. Vivian is fictional so I say have at it.

You may not have read what I said in the description... I'm fully aware that Vivian is a trans character, but I want Vivian to remain fully as a male in my pictures with absolutely no female organs while trying to identify as a female as it was canonically in the JP/Italian version of the game. That's the trans part, his identification. Vivian will still be identified as a she in my future pictures of her while everyone knows she's still a guy. I won't use the butchered version of Vivian where she was fully made into a female. Yes, Vivian is a femboy btw, a male with girly or overexaggerated feminine attributes. That's a what a femboy is which is why he wants to fit in with his sisters that bully him. I'll change the gender for the tagging, but I won't change the femboy part because It makes for funny gay jokes when Vivian is hitting in others. This is how I'm doing things, same exact thing with Birdo.
