Oh, it could be done easily! Fifine could be found by the Inspector again, years later, because the incident involving the heirs of the late baronet Augustin, who were attempting to regain control of their father's mines. And Fifine would be the only one who still remembered all the details (though no one else knows she does, because her name wasn't in the report!)
