There is something Zen is hidding to his friends, especially to Silex.

Do you remember when Zen and Silex were in the hospital after his fight, when Silex was a bad guy? (look to previous submissions of mine to know more).

Ok, then Zen said that he was fully recovered, only scars would remain in his body and face. But that's not entirely true.

Zen,s heart was severely damaged in the fight. The doctors did all they could with him. They managed to keep Zen alive but his heart is weaker since then.

Sometimes, Zen suffers severe pains on his chest. This forces him to stop and breathe spasmodically until the pain goes away. There,s no cure for this.

At least he can continue to live.

Why Zen hides this to Silex? Zen doesn,t want that Silex feel more guilty than he was at the hospital. Silex has become a friendly and peaceful guy. Zen doesn,t want that Silex feel bad again for what he did in the past. That,s why Zen lied that day.

I guess that was the high price Zen paid for saving his friends...

PD: I had thought about doing this drawing for over a month ago but I needed more time to do it and think about it.

PD 3: This is the second time I drew Zen shirtless. I don,t usually do this very often.
