My flight back to So Cal from Washington DC was an early one. Despite the craziness and crappiness of that morning, this sunrise was particularly unique and I had to turn around and grab the shot. This is the Dulles airport terminal area.
What I did: Basic raw tweaks and some content aware spot checking on the windows in the the background to remove smudges.

Wee, monochromatic~ The reflection of the sun and depth-of-field really emphasizes the length of the walkway.
Little too much sharpening, though, IMO. You've got some haloing going on around high-contrast edges. What I do to keep my images looking sharp without applying any post-process sharpening is to resize in MS Paint. Seriously; I know it seems weird, but I get better results when scaling down in MS Paint than I do in Photoshop. Using the scaling method 'Bicubic Sharper' in Photoshop nets you similar results, but you get a bit more of those sharpening halos than you do in Paint.
