I like that the first finished art of 2024 is dragons. I didn’t plan it but it fits; this is the year of the dragon in the Chinese zodiac. Septimus and his first child. :)

Description: All in shades of blue, a dragon with wavey shaped horns holds a sleeping hatchling in his arms. His wings wrap around them both. The baby sleeps with wing and tail draped over their father’s arm, one little paw resting between his big talons. Father dragon very carefully strokes his baby’s back one talon, lifting his claw away from his child. He has a tender smile on his long face.
