What to say.. it's been so long since I last recorded anything from start to finish. My voice just hasn't been doing okay since the pandemic started, but here we are!

So we did the Secret Santa thing at work this year, and I got a new microphone! I would have never ever imagined, daayum. This recording was for testing it out, it's a Behringer SL-84C, mostly for performing on stage. I'm running it through my Voice Mechanic for the trusty slight pitch correction and straight into the USB interface.

It's a bit complicated when you sing closer to the mic, because it sort of becomes more sensitive, and it pops a lot. But I'm hoping that this is enjoyable despite any of my mishaps performing or mixing this Thank you kindly for listening! Hope that your 2024 starts as best as it possibly can!
