"Hmm... what do you want to do about a Christmas tree?"
"Do we even need one?" the hare chirped, tilting his head. His cheetah mate gave him a quizzical stare.
"What else would we be decorating for the season?"
"Well... obviously we need something tall and bright and colorful... OH! I know!"
The hare disappeared in blur and a puff of smoke. A moment later, he came wobbling back into the room carrying several boxes at least twice his size. He drops them on the floor and zip to each one, unrolling a string of lights and ornaments. In seconds, he had one plugged in and wound tightly around his mate's tail. He stopped for only a moment to figure out how he was gonna get them around the big cat's trunk.
"You... are a DORK! And, also, pretty sure these things are gonna catch my fur on fire."
"Hey, wouldn't be the first time you'd be flaming!"
Every so often, my mate and I send out holiday cards to keep in touch with folks! He found a really fantastic artist that has a wonderful art style, and it's kind of becoming a tradition to commission them every year! This seems like JUST the kind of pesky thing I'd do to him, too! ^___^
