The owner described how his original skin tone did not fit for his environment, so I opened up my skin tone gradient and aimed for something in the middle range. Beyond that I kept his other colors the same, just rearranging his scales a little bit and adding some markings to his wings. Changed up his feet to be better suited to gripping- I have a tendency to always do this with flighted characters anyways.
