Then he was outside. Everything seemed calm and quiet and peaceful. Snow fell silently to the ground. But then he heard something. He turned his head, and there was Ludo. He was curled up on the front steps, crying and hugging his knees.
And It made him feel terrible. He must be so, so scared. He cursed himself. He wanted to go to him and comfort him, but he hesitated. He was the reason Ludo was afraid, after all. He was the reason he was upset. His ears fell flat against his skull, and his tail drooped behind him. He slunk over to where Ludo was sitting.
Ludo looked so tiny. He was so skinny and pale, and curled up into a ball. The sight of him was breaking his heart. He wanted so badly to wrap his arms around him, but he couldn’t. And he didn’t know if that would help. Ludo had run away, hadn’t he? He’d wanted to get away from him.
But…he loved him. He’d said he did.
He sat down in front of him, and gently rubbed his head with his nose, trying to get him to look at him. He felt like crying, because this was all his fault. Ludo was sobbing and scared, and it was because of him.
“Hey,” he said as softly as he could, “Look at me.”
He pushed his nose against Ludo’s head, rubbing his face with his cheek. Trying to see his face. He needed to know. He needed to see if he was angry, or scared, or just hurt. He wanted to make all those feelings go away.
“I’m sorry,” he sighed heavily, “I’m sorry you had to be there, I’m sorry…you got dragged into this.”
Then he pulled away, staring at him with sad eyes.
“Ludo, this is still me.”
Ludo (blond) and Gale in his monster form. In an rp with
anniepopokios My character Gale ended up comforting Ludo after saving him from a lunatic who tried to offer him up as a meal. Bah,I love them. I really just wanted to draw them after this rp has been taking over my brain for the last few days.
I love drawing these two together. I added a quick messy bg because I wanted as excuse to paint snow. Expect more art of them soon, pretty much all my free time artwise is going into drawing them. This is kinda messy, but I was afraid it would take me ages to get back to it if I didn't finish in one sitting.
