One more drawing to share before the year's over! When Metal decided to draw up this alternate Melee design for me a few months back, I was very intrigued by the results and decided I wanted him to do something similar with Sharon. Eventually, I would get a chance to commission this artist once again, and following a short conversation where I talked about Sharon's personality and behavior alongside a basic ref sheet, this was what came of the exchange: a more rugged Sharon with improved gear who's now starting to look a lot more like those bandits she so despises.

While Sharon would eventually go on to do mercenary work and acquire some proper gear to carry out those kinds of jobs, this image does give some insight into what could've been; what if the events that prompted her to go that route never happened? What if she simply decided she was content to just stick to the wilds and live off the land, shunning civilization for good? Would her and Melee still be together? A lot of questions to ponder there...

There are currently zero plans to make either alt design the new standard look for my dragons, but... it would be a shame to just let these designs go to waste, wouldn't it? I wonder what I could do with them...? Maybe Metal might have ideas? Guess time will tell if we will see more of "knightly" Melee and "barbarian" Sharon down the line!
