Recently, my friends and I watched Watership Down (1978) and it was a good time! This scene is one I’ve always wanted to draw because it’s a silly and fun bit of animation in an otherwise serious movie wherein the animals move realistically for the most part, and so I did as a “gift” to our watch party!

Kehaar was actually my oldest nickname, before I even became ArchTeryx. I really liked his character, he was a firecracker and the attitude just rang 100% true for a Black-Headed Gull (or any smaller gull!)
He took crap from nobody and even Thayli grew to respect and even admire him.
You did a great job with interpreting the animation's style and frankly, Kehaar looks even better in your style. Like a true and proper Black-Head smacking Thayli around because PISS OFF, that's why!! 🤣
