I fav'd this a few days ago, NOW I has the time to sit and critique it.

First off, the machinery is great in design. Nothing makes steampunk sing more than "I don't know what it DOES, but it sure looks cool!" You certainly have that down pat, and using such a widely-known character makes it all the more great. Making it yellow like she is announces ownership more than any other color could have, so good work there. I BELIEVE, as a viewer, in this context, that she made those and painted them the same color as her fur. The spreading, fan-like pattern there is a reminder of her later evolved forms, which was an excellent touch.
Her head is a LIIIIIITTLE big, but with all the other details and such in the piece it would really take a trained eye to see something like that. Thank you for not giving her a monstrous chest. The tuft is there for a reason, even in the show. To cover SMALL breasts, haha... fanboy or not, you get points for staying true to form there. It actually took me a long time to notice her gauntlets were different. The muted brown just didn't let my eye settle on them. But, looking over it for a long time, or looking twice, gives a pleasant surprise "oh I didn't see that earlier." Nice.
She has EXPRESSION too, thank God. Everyone seems to forget that a standing, smiling figure, no matter how original in design, is kind'a boring. Especially on a site like this. Thank you for giving her some sort of inner (or outer) conflict, so we can see a troubled face. Its a far more interesting expression, and really makes the piece POP for me. :)
Good idea with the smoke too, by the way. I would've thought the bigger pipe was a CANNON if it had not been smoking in this picture. Would she hunch forward and blast people? That would be awesome, haha, but not the point of this piece. XD
Well done, excellent piece.
