It had been so long since he'd been up north in Neotria. And besides, he only knew that some Hayacastians and Requorans rode local varieties...the trainable ones, anyway. He never ventured any where near their training trees, residing himself to his one-of-a-kind studies of Neotria. But he knew well: if caught, those towering avian predators looked down at his own negligible size with hunger and-
Peck. Peck.
Lawrence's heart fluttered, his eyes refocusing to find another pair of creatures resting on his dense fingers. Idly and curiously, they plucked one grain at a time. Then another. A soft chirp of acceptance peeped out.
"D'awww; they're so precious when they're this size."
