The Goddess' Tansheth's journey in the blizzard was to tell the good news of the promise of The Mother's Resurrection, and Santa and all the rest came later. The gifts weren't much later- Tansheth got the idea practically in the first house.
For us, Jesus birth did not ever fall on December, but we celebrate it to remember the promise in the Infant Lord Jesus- One who would suffer, die and rise for the sins of all- Even and especially for those who reject him.
The manger is an altar, and Jesus the unblemished lamb. Good News of Great Joy. (Luke 2:10)
