Chapter 22: In Service of the Master - Having returned to Stonehaven, the group is briefed on their next assignment before an unexpected guest makes an appearance.
My final upload for today as I wanted to celebrate exactly 1.5 years of being an active member of the site and having picked up writing as a hobby.
Looking to finish up Act II of this one before uploading any more of it, but I am determined to have it done soon. Although I've kind of worn myself out on writing and holiday prep stuff the past three days now, I think I've proven to myself I've not given up on trying just yet as I had been feeling a bit lacking lately.

Ok… uhh… I’m not really curious what’s going on. I was wondering about the voice earlier and was curious if it was you just withholding who was talking for dramatic effect. No, seems like there really was something else going on. Anyways, caught up and now I’m really excited to see where this goes.
To be honest, this is probably where all interest goes out the window as it is entirely out of nowhere and given no immediate explanation. If I ever do a rewrite, I'll basically be re-writing all of "Act II"...
I'm grateful that you'd keep up with all this, it is a true thrill for me that anyone would simply glance at this let alone actually read through it. I do plan to keep going, but I am going to warn that I'm probably fumbling a lot with all that's to come.
