A tank design I'm making for a contest.
Made by combining a T29 and a Tiger together.
Story is something like, in 1944 the Americans destroyed the tracks off a German Tiger, then after capturing it the had an idea to combine the heavy payload and frontal armor of the T29 with the low profile and accurate gun along with the better side armor of the Tiger.
The result was the P26 Lion which was slightly less armored than the T29 but was also slightly more mobile and had a good long range attack.
The American engineers that designed it named it the P26 by taking Panzer VI and T29 and matching them together. The name Lion came as a joke on the German's habit of naming their tanks after felines. IE: Leopard, Tiger, and Panther.
