Just felt like drawing Sam's paws, which is a feeling I have pretty often.
This was a simple one, just continuing to refine the basics.
We're coming up on the end of the year, and I started drawing in the first week of 2023, so I've been looking at my older stuff. It's always bittersweet, because I see how I've improved -- and I honestly have really improved -- but there's still so much to go to be a truly good artist. I see the stuff I like, but also the little stuff I still need improvement on -- folds in the clothes, fur, smoother lines, stuff like that.
Still, I'm not being too down on myself. I feel great as an amateur artist, and I love seeing a teensy bit of improvement in every new piece! I hope to get even better in 2024!
Sam is my Growlithe-Pokemorph and I play him on Pokemorph Paradise!

I've mentioned this in prior drawings, but its great to see your early stuff as you continue to improve month by month, especially knowing how much your skills have improved here in 2025! I'm still VERY slowly (like a lunatic) going chronological in my submission watchlist so I get to kind of vicariously experience your journey in fast motion.
