Commission from the one and only Allagar. I've been waiting years to snag a commission from them - and what a delivery it was.
Everything from top to bottom here is some of the best work I've ever gotten. This is one of the first times I've had an artist render a shot from behind like this, exposing the spine and the back of the wings. I couldn't be happier. I could go on and on about all the little details this image has that treats my eyes, from the clash of gold and blue light on my scales, the immaculate rendering of the landscape, phew.
I feel like there's more to be done with this scene, the concept of this forest and being within it seems fun. But for now - I'll cherish this one.
