Buck looks uncharacteristically angry here, this is a dark side of him we rarely see.
Is the vibe here "Good job, dude, I *told* you this was a dead end" after you insisted we make that left turn, or is it more of a "Looks like this is the end of the road for you..."?

Initially I wasn't sure what to use as a background for this one, I wanted to use a photo of that abandoned factory or a parking lot or just make a brick wall background or something... but then I found this old photo of my favorite Road Ends Sign from mid-April 2023 hiding in my Google Photos, and realized this goes HARD.
Kinda wish I had one of these photos of the sign from a summer evening, but everything still being (mostly) bare and barren gives this a desolate look that really makes it work--the surroundings get surprisingly lush in summer and that guardrail and embankment are all but hidden by various plants, making it far less ominous and desolate.
Oh, and it's by the river so the bugs are insufferable during the day, super obnoxious during the evening and get downright oppressive at night so I tried to be home before nightfall if I could help it!

This is Buck we're talking about. He's hopping back on his motorcycle. With how tall he is, and his antlers, I'm reasonably certain he physically can't fit in a car without leaning over so much that he wouldn't even be able to drive. If he has to ride in a car, he likely lays down in the back seat and takes a nap and lets someone else handle the driving!
This sign has become one of my favorite background elements for art. During the day it's interesting, but in the dark it looks quite ominous, even if the area is, in reality, actually quite safe all things considered.
Thankfully, where this sign is located in real life is actually a street corner now. I think in the past the road went out a few meters from the corner and up to that sign but nowadays it's pretty irrelevant, as there is a barrier so cars don't drive onto the walking trail.
Forever ago, that road continued out to the river, and I've even found what little remains of the bridge that used to be there--an old, worn-out concrete foundation and a pier in the middle of the river.
