So today I got a job as a veterinary assistant at a local small animal clinic that I adopted my recent cat, Chessur from. A veternary assistant is basically a technician without the license and is taught everything IN clinic. They don't get paid as much as a tech for obvious reasons, and calling them a tech is not accurate and is against the law.
I am SO excited about working there, the staff are awesome and so sweet. You can really feel that they love working with animals. The staff brings their animals and the clinic as a few cats that live there and roam anywhere they want.
So here is a picture of Rouge dressed like a sexy assistant... Fuck those white nurse outfits, scrubs are the way too go!! :D

NO I'LL TAKE MY SPACE RABIES ANY TIME!
I have never even been to a gyno! Eeeew! I know that there will be a point someday when I will have to go, but as long as I can I will try to avoid it. Just like I have avoided going to a dentist almost six months now. You can fondle me anytime though. WITHOUT NEEDLES.

IKR?? hahaha
I really would like to read the interpretation of dreams though. Some stuff he said was cool, like the ego, superego, and id. Helped me understand Fight Club a bit better than before.
We talked about him a lot in my psych class. Funny topics, lol.
I don't suffer from penis envy, but having one for one day wouldn't hurt.
He should have not focused his studies on sexuality and especially everyone wanting to have sex with their parents/penis envy. If he didn't do that, maybe people who have shown him more respect.

Well other than the obvious incest crap, one interpretation is that if you dream about losing your teeth, you feel that you have lost a sense of power. When I was extremely depressed a couple months ago, I had a dream that I BROKE all my teeth, and had to get them removed. I told that to my teacher and he said that I felt extremely powerless, which was true at the time of the dream.
That I can swallow as humans are mostly carnivores, so everyone has a fear of losing the basic ability to hunt (ofcourse we can use guns and spears and shit, but our brain still works as if the only weapon we'd have would be our teeth).
I believe that all dreams A) train you for upcoming real life problems. It's very common to be chased in your dreams, or having nightmares about death etc. Despite being unpleasant these are actually very important. We can confront our demons in dreams before we confront them in real life. Dogs and cats often whimper and move their legs while asleep, as if they'd be chasing something or being chased after. They too are training themselves so that when the event happens in real life they have a bit more advantage as it -in a way- has happened before.
B) Fulfill our desires and keep us happy, as a happy person/animal is more likely to be successful in whatever they are doing.

We usually dream about what happened in our day before we go to sleep. Our brain works out (or repeats) the problems that happened during when we were awake. That is why before people usually make a decision, they say "I am going to sleep on it".
For example, usually I fret about work or dying at the hands of a person/wheels of a car when I am awake. I have real bad anxiety issues. When I dream, it usually revolves around those things. I either dream of how to solve those problems or dream how things can go wrong.
So you are correct, dreams do help us solve real life problems. :)
There are a WHOLE bunch of different interpretations of dreams. I love researching them whenever I have a really weird dream.

alluding to what you said, ive watched/read things about dreams and scientists do conclude that we live out certain fantastical aspects of our lives through our dreams, some things we would LIKE to do but can't, and some things that are physically impossible
so when i dream about making up with my ex (instead of murdering her) or having babies and being a dad, these are things i couldnt do in real life, so i do so in dreams, and that helps put my mind at ease. a happy mind = happy body, usually, like you said, so you are right about this
grab some dream books, and if you can, catch the NOVA about dreams and any other documentaries. they are very interesting
unfortunately, i dont usually remember my dreams, which is usually a bummer for me because i wake up wanting to go back to sleep to dream again, but i dont know why

Congrats on the job, that is awesome! I really good friend of mine has a similar position in a vet office, and she absolutely loves it <:
This is a fantastic pic x) I love the expression. I'm just in love with this character, I think :{
Mind me asking why the dew claws on the hind feet?

I can't wait to go back, it felt rewarding to help those patients/boarding pets. As much as I adore puppies, I really like working with geriatric dogs. I dunno why, they just look wise and they need more love than any of the other life stages.
AND SHE LOVES YOU... -humps leg-
Dogs can have dew claws on their hind feet. Sometimes people get it removed because it just doesn't look right. Some dogs even have double dew claws, like the Great Pyrenees. (If you find a mix with double dew claws, then they have some GP genes in their DNA somewhere). They developed the second claw because they were breed to be on mountains, and the dew claws helped them climb. I use the dew claws on Rouge since no one really draws them, and that its also a bit more "human" (dogs typically = 4, humans = 5).

GASP! (more love) Im In a veterinary college for the certification of a Veterinary Technician. I have pharmacology and microbiology next trimester, right now I'm in anatomy physiology husbandry and disease. Hard as shit, but I love it.
Sidenote: My DVM Professors, and technician specialist professors look down on 'in-clinic' teachings. They say it takes jobs away from certified graduates, is illegal and should be reported. Though I agree that assistants shouldn't do technician work, I DO believe that everyone has to start somewhere and can work their way up. Then LATER get board certified. But thats my opinion.
