Whippet Drum and Non-Whippet Model
I was trying to take a photo for a client of their custom whippet drum and my puppy, who is curious about everything, couldn't stay off the couch and out of the way - he's a ham when he sees a camera. So he insisted on posing with it as well. For scale he's 95 lbs, so the drum is bigger than it looks at 16" diameter.
It's actually his one year birthday on April 8th, it's hard to believe it's been that long already! I remember when he was just a bumbling little pup it feels like yesterday.

Yes, I love dobermans but I live in Minnesota and it gets so cold here in the winter they don't do super well (well, without sweaters and booties and a lot of fuss) with all the winter activities I like to do - so a longer coated cousin worked really well for me. The personalities are quite different, though, definitely not just a fuzzy dobie!
