A bit of backstory: There is not much detail concerning Hackel, he is a felkin from an unknown world. He is a companion to Dustin, a guardian at times, and his best friend at other times. Hackel is known for the fact he used to be some kind of soldier before traveling with Dustin. He would often mention that his scars are a result of his countless battles, it is from hard-earned fights that he has these scars. He finds talking about battles to be exciting and gets his blood pumping, like the urge to go all out and find a fight fuels him at times. 

Hackel spends his time enjoying the water when Dustin fishes, sometimes he tries to catch them with a spear or his mouth. He finds this kind of life with Dustin to be enjoyable and comforting. It is a good change of pace for Hackel, allowing him to enjoy challenges and fight for fun when he wants to. Overall, Hackel finds pleasure in protecting Dustin and being his friend. He still keeps an actual sword that was created for him, a keepsake from his past life. A sword with a dark red blade and a bronze color handle. He also keeps a necklace that was given to him by Dustin when they first met long ago, a blue tear-shaped gem.
