What DIDN'T he do?

Nothing in particular, but his lifestyle is putting their relationship in danger.

She didn't know that before going into rl? :P

Hmmm... No.
She fell in love with him while he was on a vacation around her place. She then reached him, and learned the exact extent of his lifestyle. She didn't want him to change because of her so she tried to cope... but this wouldn't go too far. He is pretty good in what he does so the chances he won't make it are minimal. But you know, you mess it once and you're not forgiven, you don't get second chances in the "avoiding death" business. She's always scared that one day he won't come home ever again and wonders if it's worth the risk, especially because him being good at what he does, he could be good in so many other activities that have a smaller risk of dying and maybe are a bit more legal.

could also be the moment she tells him she is pregnant too, and he better make some ebtter choices if things are going to continue

It wasn't meant to be like that, but it fits like a glove to the original idea. Maybe I'll make it official. :D

I really like this series of commissions. It's cool to see the different angles of this relationship :)

I think I better give the context of this picture.

Gear is a "bad boy", a criminal, he lived all his life outside the law.
Then there's Sabrina, a regular, law-abiding girl. And a feeling blooms between them.
She loves him. She wants to be his girl. But Gear's lifestyle threatens her to become his widow instead, and the idea is terrible. Gear is stubborn, so she needs to make her point clear: if he wants them to be a thing like she hopes, he has to stop trying to get himself killed. She's angry, she's shouting and crying, but it's all because she is scared that he'll die.
And Gear loves her too. He doesn't want her to feel like that, but he's torn: changing for someone else's sake feels wrong, making her feel like that feels wrong, what should he do? What will he do? ... Who knows. (well, I know of course. But I won't tell here XD) But for now, in this picture, he wishes he could escape this confrontation.

So much tension between them. I love how this came out. Someone pointed out the heart-shaped space between them, under her arm, between their hips and legs: it wasn't intentional, could it be an omen?
