I seriously can't believe I never uploaded this here!

This was a piece I made for a monster lover zine a couple years ago. It features my two OCs, Lawrence (human) and Syd (gator beast)

These characters met when they were children, and have been close friends ever since. Syd seems to be the only creature of his kind, and has some broken memories of being human at some point. Lawrence was often bullied in school, and found himself to be more comfortable in nature instead of around other people. He enjoys Syd's company when exploring the swamps surrounding his Louisiana home, and the two have grown to be closer than friends as the years have gone on. They like to take walks together in areas where there is solid ground, and Syd will let Lawrence ride on his back or belly if they go for a swim.
