And here's the next bit. I can't promise the regularity of these things, but this chapter has actually been written up for awhile so I figured I might as well post it.

I've spoken a lot about Matthew but he's always presented as a background character. Someone who had an influence on Three but is gone from the picture. since this part of the story is from his perspective, it isn't in first person.

I liked this chapter a bit more than the first even though it comes across as a bit bland.

Matthew used to be a reporter and a fiction writer. He'd been in the front lines with his camera during several wars and has lived an adventurous life. Because of this he probably takes to strange situations a lot calmer than others might.

Plus he's a good christian man, and doesn't fear death too much and trusts in his faith to allow God's will to pass. It's horribly cliche sounding, but things in Matthew's past have brought him to this point when he could either rage and destroy himself or come to terms and peace with things. I can't say any more than that for now.
