While I was scanning FA for art to look at, I noticed that some folks really liked Pistol from Disney's Goof Troop and wished there were more of her on here.
Well, from 1993-1996 I has a sort of mini-obsession with her and pretty much drew nothing but during that time! (And none of it was yiffy, which considering all of the drawings I did is somewhat amazing. ^_^)
Of the dozens of sketches I have, this is one of my favorites. I love how the pose turned out in that she has all of her weight on her left foot and it makes her torso have a cute S-curve instead of a stiff looking upright position. Darnit, I wish I the poses would flow from my mind as easily as they did back when I did the original sketch! Nowadays my left brain comes up with the idea then plops itself down on a hammock with iced tea and expects my right brain to work out all the details! ^_^
Anyhow, I scanned in the original sketch and did the lines, coloring and shading. I think this is my best job shading yet. Feels like I could almost reach into the screen and hug her. ^_^
She's not totally on-model in regards to her Disney design but I think this could be considered a chibi version of her. (She's got impossibly stubby legs here. ^_^)
I'll scan and finish more of my sketches of her in coming weeks!

Hmm, tried searching for a video clip but there doesn't seem to be any from an actual episode. Pistol is a precocious 5 year old who always seems like she is on a sugar rush. :) Here's a link for some more info:

I used to draw her all the time back in the day (until I got hooked on 101D:TS ^_^; ) and have dozens of sketches of her I could color and submit.
Except... I keep looking at the # of views of her compared to my other art and wonder if anyone even cares? >.> But she's still a very cool character and I will get around to submitting a few more of them when I have some more free time.
