In March 2018 the long awaited project of returning to Broadway station became a reality. The extension to Broadway first began after the landslips at Winchcombe and Gotherington back in 2011 severed services south of Toddington. Relaying track as far as Laverton (roughly halfway to Broadway) the railway was able to operate a small service till the repairs were complete.

This was my first trip to the station since opening, May 2019.
