Another Velkyn extra, prior to the recent addition of horns....
Our boy had the supreme misfortune of having to survive a week-long reunion as his past caught up with him. The good news? He did manage to reclaim his freedom (for now). The bad news? The threat itself has not been eliminated.

Velkyn absolutely wants to murder him, but he knows it's not going to be easy...Especially considering how this guy can just get in his head and twist things around the way he does.
He only managed an escape this time due to a combination of luck and the help of one ally in particular (that being the local Spymaster). And ultimately the interference of his party when they managed to find the location thanks to her. But it still took both cleric and fighter to break the enchantment that had Velkyn attempting to harm them. Everyone was in pretty rough shape afterwards...and Velkyn's soul maaaay have slid one point along its current track, during that week.
If there was anything good that came from this, it is perhaps that Velkyn and the Spymaster, Garde, are a bit closer than they were before. That, and Garde's apprentice (who had also come along) was able to capture the half-drow as a prisoner, and has since been working very hard on figuring that one out in the meantime.
