I dunno if it was due to the proximity of the temporary ice rink next to the Fairmont, the (somewhat) brisk winter weather, or the fact that I ingested a great many vodka and OJs, but once I saw this bruin lurking in the corner of the lobby bar, I knew only one thing could happen.

We had to throw down!

Drinks were flying and the crowd roared as we went mano-to-mano (bearo-to-bearo??), tearing through the lobby bar like a force of nature! Eventually, the linesman separated us and we both went to the sin bin to feel shame (hardly!).

Rest assured, while Belic seems to have the upper hand in this photo, I managed to get some good shots in!
