Maja Gräddnos, also known as Maya Cream-nose or Molly Silknose in some English dubs, is the love interest of the title character of Pelle-No-Tail. She doesn't really have much personality other than being nice in the 1980s films, but the 2020 film does make her a bit more confrontational towards resident bully Mean-Mike/Elaka Måns, which I kind of like. And from what I've read, this does seem to be what her personality in the books is. (I cannot absolutely confirm though, because only the first two and the fourth book are in English as of now.)
