“Oh wow, more ruins! When I go out exploring I sometimes end up finding them, it's always interesting to figure out what they were used for, some are still mostly in one piece but just overgrown by the jungle, so they are a little easier to explore, but some like this seem to have completely fallen apart, so figuring out where everything was supposed to be is a lot harder, but this is such an open area too..., whatever was here, must have been really important if it needed to be so big, I can only imagine what was here, maybe it's even still here... Maybe I can find something that will tell me a little bit more about what was once here and where I can find it. It's a bright day, and with such an open area I'll be able to see any trouble pretty easily. Let's see if I can find anything interesting."

So here's something a lot of you might enjoy. It's the start of a brand new quicksand series from  toughset featuring Lucia in the middle of some ruins. I think this turned out great as a starting picture, Lucia looks great in this style, her hair is a lovely light blue while the outfit looks really good on her, the torn edges have been captured brilliantly with things like the leg belt and arm wraps having a nice thick look to them, with the outfit as a whole having a proper leather look to it. Lucia's happy mood is also captured really nicely, really getting across in how good of a mood she's in before the peril, with her spear in one hand, as well as just casually holding onto a vine. I do really love the background in this as well, there's not a lot of green in here, which really sets it apart from most jungle pics, with the trees being far behind her, giving a much more open area for Lucia, with the dirt ground really adding to the more rough look of this area as it shows just where everything used to be, while some mountains really add to the background as well. The ruins themselves are also done quite nicely, getting some of the pretty basic stuff across quite well, like small chunks of walls and a fallen pillar, though the looks brick floor sticking out of the dirt defiantly is the highlight here as it teases what's about to happen really nicely and has a great look to it. Overal it's a great starting pic and I hope you all enjoy it!
