For such misdemeanours a spell in the stocks and a thorough tickling would be a fitting punishment for youthful offenders, perhaps serving to deter them from more serious criminal activities in the future. Though I suppose the effectiveness might depend on whether or not they might find the tickling to be enjoyable, as it does look here like it's fun for all involved.
