A redesign of my Dragonborn fighter Evelyn with more of an inspiration to the Landsknecht style of armor to fit more practically with her greatsword fighting style. It was quite fun to give Ev a new look that gives her more color.
Our Dragonborn fighter Evelyn Wight finds herself the first of her party awake after a long rest. She decides to take a walk, to clear her head down by the river. The sun beats down at her face, and for a moment she forgets her troubles. The worm wriggling in her head on the cusp of shifting her body to an unspeakable horror, the wizard she kept as company with a strange connection to his god, a tiefling bard that requires heavy supervision, and a drow with a past to troubled she can barely recall it outside her insatiable want of violence.
With all of that though, all she can think of in this warm early day was her clan, completely decimated by the mind flayers, and how much she missed them. Their jovial cheer at the end of a quest, the bards singing of their deeds helping the people of Baldur's Gate.
But, that chapter of her life is done now, and this merry band of misfits is her new clan. The wizard is wonderful company, the bard makes her blush like her previous companion would, and the drow had successfully suppressed her dark urge until now.
As she walked along the trail and reflected, she could hear the call of her party as the sun really began to shine. At that moment she knew, it was time to get back to work.

Thank you so much!! <33 The armor is my favorite too, it was quite fun to experiment with the bright lighting and how the armor would react to it. I also think this redesign is much more fitting and practical for Evelyn. It doesn't necessarily make for great 5e stats, but really this character has surpassed those restrictive roots and we'll see her in many things to come.
Oooo! Baldur's Gate 3 fun! ^!^ Hehe. ^!^ Such a sweet recollection of your time playing the game with her. You play with friends or the npcs? ^!^ Either way, looks like you had fun getting close. ^!^
And your girl here's looking good! ^!^ The yellow and blue color combo is a classic. ^!^ Same with the side-switching for the colors as they transfer from gambeson to pants. ^!^ Hehe. Fancy medieval stripy pants. XD Fun. Ooo. And the hip thingies match the gambeson too. ^!^ But are darker to help bring out the brighter surroundings. ^!^ The colors both go with, and contrast too, her eyes. ^!^ Hehe! Such a vivid shade of purple. ^!^ Goes well with the black scales. ^!^
And speaking of those scales, love their interaction with the shiny metal armor. ^!^ Hehe! Dull and dark meeting shiny and bright. ^!^ All while the armor seems quite protective, though I'm not sure about the abdomen. Unless there's mail under the gambeson? Heh. XD Either way, looking stylish! ^!^ And looking like a mighty warrior. ^!^ Ready to trudge across the land and kick butt! ^!^ Which a very nice looking greatsword too. ^!^ Oh! And I love how the thumbs have a slightly darker piece of metal on their lower halves. A nice bit of variety. ^!^
And the scenery looks so tranquil. Hehe. ^!^ With a bit hiding underneath. Perfect for the situation. ^!^

My first Baldur's Gate 3 playthrough was with friends! We plowed through the game as a four player group and had an absolute blast!! Ms. Evelyn here was my first character, and I kinda fell in love with her as we did really idle RP through the hilarity of a 4 person BG3 run. Then I took her through a singleplayer run and she's kind of cemented her way into my heart since then!
Yeah the lack of armor in her abdomen might be alarming to some, but a high mobility is needed to be able to maneuver a zweihander the way it's meant to be used. Besides, such a large blade works great as a defense as well as offense! I have a feeling she'll be just fine! I did go all out with the colors and making sure they had that very specific medieval gaudy color scheme. Very happy you enjoy it! Making armor shiny and pretty is certainly in my realm of favorite things, along with drawing the big angry protective fighter dragon ;p

Awwwww. ^!^ That sounds super fun! ^!^ And super sweet. ^!^
Hehe. XD I don't think armor hindered movement that much. Maybe stamina and cooling down, and breathing in the case of helmets, but not movement. XD Either way, looks great and videogamey! ^!^ XD And I can see you went all out with love. ^!^ Hehe! She's looks like she's loved by you, that's for certain. ^!^
