Yeah Val has to deal with it until his brain forces itself to shut down to protect Val from spiralin' for the first time. After that he'll slowly accept the truth that he has lost everythin'. Though at least he has his pet dog that Travis give gives him. Travis gave Val a dog to prevent him from doin' somethin' drastic again ( a very very very dark thing)
