Just a quick register of a lovely smol friend I met during a stroll today. I think it is a Zoniopoda tarsata. For reference: found in an urban area, daytime, late spring, Sรฃo Paulo, Brazil. These beauties are not that uncommon, but neither a daily sight. Sharing for reference, especially for these colorful legs.

Oh, I didn't know these grasshoppers, nice to meet them! More neutral colors have a charm too, and the joy of finding something that was camuflated! And the C. italicus was very lucky to find a nice place for winter. If an animal is not dangerous, I usually keep it at home, some are useful (like most spiders and geckos that eat mosquitoes), but, even if they're not, I'm happy to have to have these small creatures around.
Biiiiirb you are talking to a Brazilian, unfortunately only thing mosquitoes don't transmit here is Wi-Fi :(. So I kill them too, not only for me but for people around me. But, if geckos and spiders can eat them, even better!
I need to find and upload some more insect photos! Also yours were adorable too. The snail!
One day I may keep some arthropods as pets, I just need to check updated local laws about it.
